Read through the book of Acts; you will find descriptions of what the church looked like in its earliest, purest form, as well as descriptions of groups that gathered together in each other’s homes and in public places. They shared food and made sure everyone had what they needed. They prayed for each other and worked out their faith together. They lived in community. It is this portrait of Christian community that has inspired our Community Groups ministry. We want every person in our church to find a group where they can connect and grow.
Check out the list below and see if there is a group that looks like it may work for you. Contact the leader, and check the date and time of their next meeting (times and locations may vary). Go for a visit and see if it is a fit. If you don’t find a group that looks like it will meet your needs, contact me and we will try to find a way to meet your needs: communitygroups@napervillechurch.org.
Our Groups are open to all and may be joined at any time.
