The National Mission of God: Go!

In Luke 10, Jesus is sending six dozen pairs of people out. They are told to “Go!” in verse 3.

To Think About:

  • Read verses 1-3. What does Jesus mean when he says, “The harvest is plentiful”? What does a prayer for workers sound like? How will you add that prayer to your prayers?
  • Read verses 4-7. How do you prepare to tell others about Jesus? Is there anything you take, write down, or rely on to help you? Are any of those like what Jesus said the 72 should not take with them?
  • Read verses 8-15. Are there any cities or regions in the United States that would surprise you if there was suddenly a spiritual renewal there? Why would you be surprised? What cities or areas stand out to you as “religious”?
  • Read verse 16. How does this encourage you to speak up or stand out even when your message about Jesus isn’t welcomed?

To Pray About:

  • Thank God for the good news of Jesus coming to earth and one day returning.
  • Pray for the opportunities you and others have to “go” in Jesus’ name.
  • Ask God to send out workers into his harvest field.

To Live Out:

You can “go” in your day-to-day events as well as partner with others in the Naperville church family who are taking the message of God’s kingdom nationally. If you’re interested in doing more or learning more, scan the QR code below and share your contact information.
